I-5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project - Community Walk & Bike Ride

Bring your walking shoes or your bike and helmet to the I-5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project Community Walk and Bike Ride, hosted by the Oregon Department of Transportation and the City of Portland. Beginning at the Stingray Café near the Rose Quarter, groups of walkers and bikers will be guided through the project area to view and discuss project improvements.

WHEN: Saturday, October 7, 2017, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

WHERE: Stingray Café (in the Leftbank Building) at 240 N Broadway, Portland

Walkers and bicyclists will join project team members in sharing ideas about the project improvements, including:

  • Local Street, Bicycle & Pedestrian Improvements
  • Clackamas Bike & Pedestrian Bridge
  • Highway Covers
  • New Hancock-Dixon Crossing
  • I-5 Ramp-to-Ramp (Auxiliary) Lanes & Shoulders
  • I-5 Southbound On-ramp Relocation

This event is open to the public. Rain or shine, the event will go on, so come prepared with weather-appropriate clothing.
