What to Expect
The pre-tour event begins at 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 16th. Details as to location will be provided. Attendees will be walking to and through all six tour homes, so please wear comfortable shoes (no pointed heals). Please be aware that these are century-old homes with many stairs, some of which may be steep and narrow! When visiting the gardens, please stay on the paths.
A selection of drinks (wine/beer/non-alcoholic) and hors d'oeuvres will be served following the pre-tour.
On Sunday, May 17, the special presentation begins at 9:00 am. Tour houses are open 11:00 to 5:00, should you wish to view them again.
The tour is self-guided and you may visit the homes in any order. Each home is staffed with volunteer docents who are knowledgeable about the home’s history and features, and will be happy to answer your questions.
Lunch, snack, and drink options include two food trucks, a coffee cart, and the Hancock Street Preschool bake sale, all located at the Irvington Club, as well as the many restaurants along NE Broadway.
